I Choose Joy
Mindset is everything. If we let negative experiences, situations or interactions with people affect us, we are essentially letting them live rent free in our head. I know it sounds weird, but It’s advice my Father once gave me. By this he meant, If you’re worrying and allowing these things to take up your mindspace with their negativity you’re hindering your own Joy. I have come to realise as I get older that my Father was right. (Thanks Dad!)
In my teens I let nothing go. I was angry and felt wronged by many things that happened in my childhood. My anxiety was at an all time high because I would let these things run wild in my mind and affect my daily decisions and attitude towards life.
